River to Lake Guide Service provides a wide variety of guided fly fishing and conventional trips for trout and smallmouth bass year round in the Asheville area and surrounding counties throughout Western North Carolina ( Buncombe,Madison,Yancey, McDowell, Mitchell, Henderson). We welcome anglers of all ages and skill levels to join us on a fishing adventure that we will strive to build lifetime memories on. Whether you want to spend a day isolated deep in our beautiful mountains  learning to drift a dry fly on a small stream for wild trout or if you'd rather get out with conventional gear and chase big smallmouth bass in the deep clear waters of Lake James, River to Lake Guide Service has you covered. As much as we love fishing, customer satisfaction and safety remains our top priority. For that reason we require all guides to be insured and licensed on all of our offered packages.
